Wil je een diepere connectie met paarden ervaren, zonder dat je in het zadel hoeft te zitten? Tijdens deze driedaagse ontdek je de kracht van horsemanship en grondwerk. Je leert hoe je op een zachte en effectieve manier communiceert, vertrouwen opbouwt en een harmonieuze relatie met je paard ontwikkelt.

In een kleine groep van maximaal 8 deelnemers werk je dagelijks samen met onze paarden. Zo ervaar je hoe je paarden kunt begrijpen, begeleiden en inspireren vanaf de grond, en leer je technieken die je vertrouwen en leiderschap versterken.

Voor wie zijn deze lessen geschikt?

Deze lessen zijn ideaal voor:

• Mensen die hun band met paarden willen verdiepen zonder te rijden
• Beginners die een goede basis in grondwerk en horsemanship willen leggen
• Ruiters die (tijdelijk) niet kunnen of willen rijden door fysieke redenen, angst of andere omstandigheden
• Paardeneigenaren die hun jonge, oude of gevoelige paard beter willen begrijpen en trainen
• Iedereen die paarden beter wil lezen, vertrouwen wil opbouwen en plezier wil hebben in de omgang

Wat je gaat leren

Obstakels en vertrouwen
Leer waarom paarden schrikken, wat ze spannend vinden en hoe je dit op een rustige, effectieve manier oplost. Werk met verschillende obstakels zoals zeilen, gordijnen, kleine sprongen en andere uitdagende situaties om vertrouwen en samenwerking te bevorderen.

Grondwerk & leiderschap
Ontdek hoe leiderschap in de kudde werkt en hoe je dit toepast bij je paard. Leer je paard volgen, stoppen en achterwaarts bewegen met subtiele communicatie en respect.

Paardenverzorging
Krijg inzicht in basis- en gevorderde verzorging: borstelen, sok- en hoefverzorging, voeding en het observeren van vitale functies. Leer hoe je problemen vroeg signaleert en reageert bij veelvoorkomende gezondheidskwesties.

Gedrag en kuddecommunicatie
Begrijp natuurlijk gedrag, sociale hiërarchie en stresssignalen. Pas dit toe in je omgang en training om welzijn en vertrouwen te vergroten.

Paardenmassage
Evy leert je zachte technieken om belangrijke spieren te ontspannen en je paard comfort te bieden, gebaseerd op haar ervaring als gediplomeerd paardensportmasseur.

Longeren en vrijheidsdresuur
Leer je paard op afstand te begeleiden, rust en balans te bewaren en praktische oefeningen aan te leren. Dit versterkt communicatie, leiderschap en wederzijds vertrouwen.

Horse Agility & spel
Train speels en uitdagend samen met je paard door een speciaal parcours. Dit verbetert samenwerking, vertrouwen en plezier voor zowel paard als mens.

Extra’s:
Om je verblijf zo soepel en comfortabel mogelijk te maken, bieden we verschillende extra’s aan. We helpen je bij het kiezen van de juiste accommodatie op slechts vijf minuten wandelen van de stallen. Voor internationale reizigers bieden we autoverhuur begeleiding: we brengen je naar het verhuurbedrijf, helpen je bij het ophalen en brengen je weer terug wanneer je de auto inlevert. Ook bieden we airport pick-up en retourtransfers van en naar Schiphol, inclusief hulp met bagage en begeleiding door de luchthaven. Tijdens je rijlessen kun je bovendien gratis gebruikmaken van helmen en rijlaarzen, zodat je altijd veilig en comfortabel in het zadel zit.

Mogelijkheid: Kids Corner tijdens de rijlessen
Terwijl jij geniet van je rijles, kan je kind gezellig aanschuiven bij onze Kids Corner. Eén van onze teamleden zorgt voor knutselmateriaal, spelletjes, limonade en een snack. Een kleine bijdrage van €10 per keer dekt de materialen en traktaties. Let op: dit is een recreatieve activiteit en geen officiële kinderopvang.

Discover the power of horsemanship and groundwork. You will learn how to communicate with your horse in a gentle yet effective way, build trust, and develop a harmonious relationship.

In a small group of up to 8 participants, you will work daily with our horses. You will experience how to understand, guide, and inspire your horse from the ground, while learning techniques that strengthen your confidence and leadership.

What you will learn

Obstacles and Confidence
Learn why horses get startled, what they find scary, and how to handle these situations calmly and effectively. Work with a variety of obstacles such as tarps, curtains, small jumps, and other challenging elements to enhance trust and cooperation.

Groundwork & Leadership
Discover how leadership functions within a herd and how to apply it with your horse. Learn to have your horse follow, stop, and move backward using subtle communication and mutual respect.

Horse Care
Gain insight into both basic and advanced horse care: grooming, leg and hoof care, nutrition, and monitoring vital signs. Learn how to recognize early signs of common health issues and respond effectively.

Behavior and Herd Communication
Understand natural behavior, social hierarchy, and stress signals. Apply this knowledge in your interactions and training to improve welfare, reduce stress, and strengthen trust.

Equine Massage
Evy will teach you gentle techniques to relax key muscle groups and provide comfort for your horse, based on her experience as a certified equine sports masseur.

Lunging & Liberty Training
Learn how to guide your horse from a distance, maintain calm and balance, and teach practical exercises. This strengthens communication, leadership, and mutual trust.

Horse Agility & Play
Train playfully and interactively with your horse through a specially designed course. This enhances cooperation, trust, and fun for both horse and handler.

Extra service:
To make your stay as smooth and comfortable as possible, we offer a range of extras. We provide helping you choose the right accommodation on just a five-minute walk from the stables, so you won’t need a rental car during your visit. If you do prefer to rent one, we provide car rental guidance, bringing you to the rental office, assisting with pick-up, and taking you back when you return the car. For international travelers, we also offer airport pick-up and return transfers from Schiphol, including help with luggage and guidance through the airport. During your riding sessions, you can borrow helmets and riding boots free of charge, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience.

Possibility: Kids Corner during Riding Lessons
While you enjoy your riding lesson, your child can join our cozy Kids Corner. One of our team members will be there to offer crafts, games, a drink and a snack. A small contribution of €10 per session covers materials and treats. Please note: this is a recreational activity, not official childcare.
